The purpose of this Initial Agreement (IA) was to seek approval from the Scottish Government Capital Investment Group (CIG) to develop an Outline Business Case to re-provide the Princess Alexandra Eye Pavillion, Edinburgh in a purpose design and built Eye Hospital on the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh/ Edinburgh BioQuarter site at a total capital cost of £68.5M.
The IA was submitted to CIG in November 2017 and approved to proceed to Outline Business Cases was received on 8th Februrary 2018.
