NHS Lothian Annual Review 2025/2026

The NHS Lothian Annual Review is on Friday 30 October 2026

The Annual Review is the formal process where the Scottish Government assesses the performance of each Health Board over a 12-month period. This session will cover April 2025 – March 2026.

The Review for NHS Lothian will be chaired by the Cabinet Secretary for Health and Social Care, Miss Angela Constance.

The Minister will open the event, followed by a short presentation from NHS Lothian Chair, Professor John Connaghan CBE, who will provide an overview of performance through a short presentation outlining key developments and plans for the year ahead.

Attend on the day

NHS Lothian is encouraging the public to attend the Annual Review in person. A recording of the session will be made available on the NHS Lothian website shortly after the session.

Members of the public are encouraged to submit questions they have for NHS Lothian in advance of the session via email loth.getinvolved@nhs.scot with “Annual Review” in the subject line, by 25 September 2026.

Please note, questions must be submitted in advance. There will not be the opportunity to ask questions on the day.
