{"id":540,"date":"2021-07-30T12:20:31","date_gmt":"2021-07-30T11:20:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/org.nhslothian.scot\/sustainability\/?p=540"},"modified":"2023-03-29T12:23:05","modified_gmt":"2023-03-29T11:23:05","slug":"sustainable-development-in-primary-care-webinar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/org.nhslothian.scot\/sustainability\/2021\/07\/30\/sustainable-development-in-primary-care-webinar\/","title":{"rendered":"Sustainable Development in Primary Care webinar"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On Thursday 29 July at 1pm NHS Lothian&nbsp;hosted&nbsp;a&nbsp;Sustainability Webinar which&nbsp;wass&nbsp;open to all NHS Lothian staff to attend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This webinar focussed&nbsp;on what is changing in Primary Health Care \u2013 the part of NHS Lothian that for most people is their first point of contact. They looked at two examples which highlighted the challenges faced and progress made in changing the way we do things in Primary Health Care in Lothian.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They&nbsp;heared about the journey from one GP practice \u2013 St Triduana\u2019s in Edinburgh \u2013 about the challenges they faced in \u2018Going Green\u2019 and how they overcame them.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prescribing in primary care is a major contributor to our carbon footprint.
