The Freedom of Information (FoI) Act came into effect on 1st January 2005, ushering in a new era for the public sector in Scotland and making public services more transparent than ever before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The FoI Act gives people new rights to access recorded information held by public authorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NHS Lothian policy is to publish responses to requests for information under the FoI Act. You will find the responses on this page by clicking on the Request and Responses Register<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
