{"id":517,"date":"2023-04-28T18:02:31","date_gmt":"2023-04-28T17:02:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/org.nhslothian.scot\/equality-human-rights\/my-story-is-your-story\/"},"modified":"2023-05-05T12:41:13","modified_gmt":"2023-05-05T11:41:13","slug":"my-story-is-your-story","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/org.nhslothian.scot\/equality-human-rights\/my-story-is-your-story\/","title":{"rendered":"My Story Is Your Story"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>&#8216;My Story Is Your Story&#8217; is a series of creative engagements created in 2021, led by Edinburgh and Lothians Health Foundation&#8217;s Arts in Health and Wellbeing Programme, Tonic Arts, in partnership with NHS Lothian&#8217;s Equalities Network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This short film celebrates the contribution of Black and Minority Ethnic staff, sharing interviews about their experiences during COVID-19, the challenges they faced and the changes they want to see happen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-vimeo wp-block-embed-vimeo wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"NHS Lothian_My Story Is Your Story_Short\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/566208103?h=af40894105&amp;dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"1520\" height=\"855\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This is part of a wider creative programme, called 360 Visions, which uses theatre, storytelling, music and filmmaking to understand NHS Lothian BME staff experiences of the COVID-19 pandemic and explore the multi-faceted challenges faced not only by BME staff, but also by Disabled, LGBT+ and Youth staff members. These creative activities will support the development of a range of equalities, diversity and inclusion resources across NHS Lothian, enhancing the work that is already taking place in the organisation to broaden views and improve culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 360 Visions programme has been made possible thanks to donations made to\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.elhf.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">Edinburgh and Lothians Health Foundation<\/a>&#8216;s COVID-19 Appeal as well as grants received from\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nhscharitiestogether.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">NHS Charities Together<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&lsquo;My Story Is Your Story&rsquo; is a series of creative engagements created in 2021, led by Edinburgh and Lothians Health Foundation&rsquo;s Arts in Health and Wellbeing Programme, Tonic Arts, in partnership with NHS Lothian&rsquo;s Equalities Network.
