{"id":533,"date":"2023-06-05T16:43:30","date_gmt":"2023-06-05T15:43:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/org.nhslothian.scot\/capitaldevelopments\/involving-people\/"},"modified":"2023-06-05T22:44:50","modified_gmt":"2023-06-05T21:44:50","slug":"involving-people","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/org.nhslothian.scot\/capitaldevelopments\/involving-people\/","title":{"rendered":"Involving People"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Engaging with patients and communities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We are committed to involving&nbsp;patients and wider communities&nbsp;in the development of&nbsp;new&nbsp;facilities and where there is a major change to a service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We recognise the need to engage with people before, during and after construction to help shape and improve our services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We regularly consult with patients and carers, staff, local communities, the wider public and other interested parties including third sector organisations and public sector partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Commercial partners<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We engage advisors, designers and contractors to support the delivery of Capital Planning Projects where required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We use a nationally approved procurement programme for public funded construction projects called Frameworks Scotland.
