{"id":532,"date":"2023-06-05T16:43:30","date_gmt":"2023-06-05T15:43:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/org.nhslothian.scot\/capitaldevelopments\/our-vision\/"},"modified":"2023-06-05T22:47:23","modified_gmt":"2023-06-05T21:47:23","slug":"our-vision","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/org.nhslothian.scot\/capitaldevelopments\/our-vision\/","title":{"rendered":"Our Vision"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Building a healthier future<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Ensuring the availability of appropriate, clean and safe healthcare environments is central to the delivery of high-quality healthcare in NHS Lothian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In terms of capital development, the vision is for major hospital and acute services to be focused around these sites:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Royal Hospital for Children and Young People<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Western General Hospital&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>St John\u2019s Hospital<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Royal Edinburgh Campus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Masterplans for investment in and development of these sites are in place, or have recently been completed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We also have a vision to build a new:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>National Treatment Centre<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reprovision of The Princess Alexandra Eye Pavilion<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Regional Cancer Centre<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We believe good buildings support great healthcare.
